Join us for Christian Life Ministry’s Walk for Life event at Casey Lake Park in North St. Paul !  This year we have several exciting improvements to announce:  

°          In addition to the Walk, those who have more energy to burn will have the option of a 5K Fun Run!

°          There is no registration fee this year however we hope you will seek sponsors, keeping in mind that we will have the cost of t-shirts and other expenses (about $10 per person) to cover through your sponsors’ donations.

°          This year it is easier than ever to get involved.  You can choose one of two registration options, whichever is most convenient for you.

1.     Tech-savvy participants can register and solicit sponsors online:

°          You may register for the event online by going to www.clmonline.com/wr .  Click on the Walker/Runner button and follow the instructions.

°          You will be given your very own web page for the event and may solicit sponsors without ever leaving that page.  You’ll be able to update to your Facebook page, send an email to people in your own email address book and more!  When sending out information from your walk/run web page, those receiving your notice will be automatically sent the link to your personal sight along with your personal message.  People sponsoring you in this way may pledge money or pay right there online.  Payments made online will go directly to Christian Life Ministries so you won’t have to worry about collecting!

2.    You may still use the traditional way of registering and soliciting sponsors:

°          Call Cheryl at ((651) 649-3538 (between 10 am and 2 pm Monday through Thursday) or email her at ctembreull@newdaycenter.org.  Provide your name and address and Cheryl will send you a registration form and a walk packet.  When you receive it, please send the registration form to Christian Life Ministries using the envelope provided.  Please indicate your t-shirt size so that we can have your t-shirt ready for you when you arrive at Casey Lake Park .  The packet will include all you need, including a sponsor form and promotional materials to help you find sponsors.

°          When you receive your sponsor form in the registration packet, ask your friends and family to sponsor you for your walk/run.  Write in their names on the form and the amount they have donated for your walk/run.  In order to help you gain sponsors we will include, in your registration packet, a letter that you can copy and send to family and friends asking for their support.

Walkers/Runners can check-in for the event between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm and the Walk/Run will begin at 3:00 pm. 

A potluck supper will follow the event in the park pavilion.  We will provide beverages and tableware and will have grills ready for you by 4:00 pm.  Just bring your own meat and a dish to share.
